A selection from a collection of several hundred pictures,
of which over 200 are already scanned, including much of the Kings Canyon and
Yosemite backcountry, as well as areas in between the two and outside the
Yosemite park area to the east of the crest. Photos have been taken on two
visits in 1981 and 1992, involving long walks remote from any roads and in
1992 often remote from from marked trails. A further visit in 1996 (with
heavier photographic gear) produced many more shots, but these are still
waiting to be scanned - watch this space !

mounted and framed (within UK) Cibachrome prints in a variety of sizes.
